Uppereast.com is proud to support “Rich in Love,” a charity which benefits cancer research, education and support programs at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Rich in Love Charity Inc was founded in 2005 by Upper East Siders Hallie Rich and Alison Love. Love, lost her father, Fred Love, to cancer in October 2004 and Hallie Rich’s father, Mel Rich, was diagnosed with cancer soon after, a battle he is continuing to fight.
The 2nd Annual Rich in Love fundraising gala will be held on February 2, 2007 at Tavern on the Green. Tickets are available for sale for $125 per person to the public at http://www.richinlove.org/invite.html.
This year’s gala affair will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and dancing in the famous Crystal Room at Tavern on the Green. There will be a live auction hosted by legendary Christie’s auctioneer Melyora E. Kramer.
A variety of big ticket items will be available, from autographed sports memorabilia to glittering jewels. Additionally, a raffle will offer other high end items to be won such as tickets to Broadway Shows and a spot in the audience at The View.
